Here in Virginia we say, "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute. It will change." You can't fool with Mother Nature. She doesn't like it.3 points

@Suzy Here is a tutorial for it: https://www.loom.com/share/b5054578e9b34fb188a1567760001ca2 You will see that it is super simple and you can create flowers with more petals or with different shapes too.2 points

This project was originally meant for the song challenge, but it isn't a song? But what a struggle it was! I always "save as" when I'm working on a project and add a number to every version. This time it was 28 versions!? (Normally about 10/12) Font ChaseCallas and Beauty night butterfly with a bevel. The instruments are picture tubes on a seperate layer and later on merged. The musical notes on the Staves(?) are from Janet Kemp (Pixelscrapper) Trees and background also from Pixelscrapper I think. Costume I had on my computer.2 points

In April, our monthly theme is Easter. There are many things that revolve around Easter, whether it is a religious celebration or just a fun event for the kids. What words would you associate with Easter, starting with each letter of the alphabet? Let's go!1 point

Whether you celebrate Easter or not, you might have organized or participated in Easter hunts or other activities around this time of year. What was it? Let's chat!1 point

Yes I remember that vinegar smell too now you mentioned it, and the vinegar was put in the water. I think that it was used when the color was good to stop the process. But I'm not sure, I cann't ask that anymore either. Vinegar was and maybe is still used to protect the color of clothing, for instance yeans when you wash them. Of course nowadays there are so many washing detergents that it is not done that way any longer, but I remember using vinegar that way many , many years ago.1 point

Corrie, I also don't want to damage my photo albums. For some photos I could scan the entire page with 600dpi by placing the album on the scanner (i can always try), and then separating the photos with psp, as Carole explains Because of the weather I have hardly taken any pictures since December, because it is not nice to go for walks, and it is not nice to take pictures either. I hope that everything will turn green again soon and that we will see flowers and butterfly's... everywhere again, I'm a bit tired of the gray and wet. AND I need photo material to play with PSP ?1 point

Marie-Claire I live not very far from the border with Belgium and we have had the same miserable weather! I have very few new photos as well and I have already participated in this Double Challenge as it was called then and I don't want to repeat myself. I absolutely don't want to destroy my photo albums by "ripping" a page from it, so I have to search what to use.1 point

Grandchildren Ilana & Maverick sent some photos of their son, Logan, meeting the Easter Bunny this weekend. I was poking around in Lab 13-4 so I used the template. I got some Easter/Spring freebies from Digitalscrapbooking, including the background paper where I applied the Difference blend mode. The title font is Showcard Gothic. The strip behind it came from a marisaL Easter journal card that I cut apart and stretched across.1 point

Can you just pull the pages out of the album without removing the photos? That is what we have done lately. And you can always use PSP to separate them from the others on a full-page scan. And if you scan the photos at 600 pixels per inch in resolution, you will end up with "larger" photos to use. Just a thought.1 point

I'm also participating, at least I'm going to try because I'm not sure about what and with which photos. It's always been so rainy and gray here lately, so we haven't been out much, and I haven't taken any pictures. We shall see..1 point

Yes, photos or journaling should be avoided in the center for that reason. It also depends on the type of printing you get. Some printers offer a lay-flat book in which case, very little is lost, but that is not the case of most printers.1 point

I signed up too and it is a bit too early as I'm going to visit my daughter and her family (who live now in California) in Mai. I will have tons of new photos, but not now! I'll choose some old ones and use the templates later to make a photo album.1 point

Rene: My two projects were mixes of single and doubles. It's possible we had to split them at first because the forum wouldn't display doubles. Now we can.1 point

Yes and no. Being double pages, they are still two separate 12x12 pages, but made to be together as a unit.1 point

I'm signed up. In the past I've created travel pages (real and fantasy). It was really fun to do a set of pages for a trip to Botswana, Africa, which I'll never do IRL but admire from reading about the country in the No 1 Ladies Detective Agency book series by Alexander McCall Smith. I'll show you a sample. The very first project I did when I joined the Campus was double page layouts illustrating our family vacation to Acapulco, Mexico. Not sure what I will do this time around. We'll see...1 point

Happy April! Here's my monthly Wild Cat Calendar featuring an unusual cat from Central Asia. I posted the full JPG in the FILES section of our Facebook group. It will print out at 11" x 8.5" landscape. I used Hard Light on the map of central Asia under the calendar format and was pleased with the result. These Pallas cats are about the same size as a domestic house cat but with short legs and long hair. I love their comical expression.1 point

The tornado that hit us was actually from the front that came through your area earlier that evening. Raining now with some gusts of wind. Severe thunderstorm warning includes the county just to the west of me, I'm sure it will be here soon. There were 2 tornado warnings in counties west of me in Indiana, possible touchdown in one of them. But looking at the line of storms I'm thinking we won't see the worst of it for another hour or so.0 points

For some reason Mother Nature has decided that west central Ohio is a nice target this year. After an EF-1 tornado hitting my town, 2 other EF-0 in my county and 3 EF-0 in the county north of us (other areas still be investigated), we are under another tornado watch today. Going to be a long day...0 points
