Here is the link to our group dancing the first dance (good luck if you try to find me!):

And here is the second one (that one was a workout!!). Fewer dancers were comfortable with it so some stepped out:

And if you want to see more groups dancing the same dances:

Are you aware of any participating groups in your area?

Share their information if you have it.

Good workout! I would never remember all those fancy moves.

I guess it is like PSP: once you have done it a few times, it becomes easier and easier.

And each step has a name so you can recite them in your head as you go along. At least, that is how I do it!

Nice to see those videos and no I couldn't find you 😆 Over here linedancing is not done often and when it is mostly associated with cowboy and rodeo festivals. Sometimes there are demonstrations at fairs.

I couldnt find you either, except in the main photo on the blog post.  So cool.  This reminds me of my aerobic (and step/double step aerobics) days.  My fav teacher was also a dance teacher so we'd do 1 move then the 2nd move and then add them together.  this would go one for about 7 or 8 different moves, which in the end we'd run through 1-8 two or three times.  it was a nice change from regular cardio and weightlifting.  So much fun.  The ladies your group are really good.  Nowadays, there's no way I'd ever remember the steps.  heck, I'm lucky if I can find my way home from work everyday!

Surprisingly, a lot of video tutorials, online, show young Korean women dancing, and they don't look "cowboy" at all!

Although it looks complicated (and some are), many dances are around 30-40 counts, and then, it is just a repeat. What looks complicated is that it is often starting on a different wall.

And if you were looking for me, I am way in the back, on the first line on the left. I just happened to be behind a taller lady!

Fun to watch.  I especially enjoyed watching the kid in yellow on the right side of the frame (in the first dance).  He sure was keeping up with the beat of the music.  Too Cute!!!

If I understand correctly: you are hiding so that no one can see you (LOL)

Liked the video 🙂 Would espected a more country song to dance on 🙂

I've done line-dancing for years! Loved it, but when the classes had to be in another hall, my hip wasn't to happy (pain) . Even with other shoes I still had pain , so had to stop 🙂
