MasksWorkshop-400.jpg

Another workshop will soon start. Are you in?

It will start on June 16th.

This workshop is FREE for everyone, so spread the word. This workshop is meant to be for those with some experience with PaintShop Pro or Affinity Photo. If you are brand new to using the programs, it will be a little more challenging, although we are here to help you if you still want to participate.

Did you find this thread before the registration page? Here it is. (and yes, it is the same series of tutorials, but I'll try to find more supplies for the DIAMOND members)

Hi, I have registered immediately when I saw this workshop announced in the newsletter. I have done this one a couple of times for PSP and will now use Affinity! This will broaden my knowledge of Affinity which I'm learning now.

I love using masks (which gave me so much trouble in the beginning!) but I no longer have Affinity. I purchased PSE 2024 while I could still grab it. I will use that, or rely on good old PSP.

I love masks too, Julie. I remember when I joined the Campus; I had no idea how to create them, and I was so happy once I learned how to do it.

I love them too and I use them very frequently since I learned how to use/make them. It is my number one skill I learned here in the campus!

I'm in. I'll be using Affinity and hopefully this time I'll finish the workshop - I didn't manage with PSP...

I'll be there either alternating between PSP and Affinity or both, to be continued...

I'm In.  You wrote that we need to collect photos does it matter what size the photos are? And what about 3600x3600?

As you can see in the samples on the registration page, larger photos would be featured, one per page in most cases. And the pages will be 3600x3600, as usual.

I get confused with masks, haven't done the workshop yet, although did a few of the lessons when I noticed the workshops in Diamond, about 10 months ago. I am looking orwar to learning.

I have always wondered exactly how masks were made.  I probably could have found out before now but Cassel is such a great teacher I am glad I waited.  Looking forward to the workshop.  Thank you so much for your generous sharing of your talents.

Minor setback. We're babysitting our two oldest grandsons this week.

I'll probably only have time to come and admire your masterpieces.

I'll take some photos that I can use next week....

Lesson 1. I too have used a hibiscus flower coincidentally and repeated parts of it for the mini photos in the template. I have completed this workshop before but this time I hope to be able to create the pages quickly making the most of the features of Masks.

Day 1, created using Affinity.  I will be using Affinity for this masks workshop. It couldn't be easier, a simple case of drag and drop,  unlike in PSP.

Beautiful pages ladies!
