Cassel Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Do you have a sweet tooth? I do and I love chocolate. What about you? What do you like the most (or are there some that you don't like)? Share your opinion (and photos too, if you have some). There is a chocolatier in Halifax that I would love to try: https://peacebychocolate.ca/ I just found out they sell at a local business (not the confectionary) so I might try it!
Corrie Kinkel Posted April 30 Posted April 30 The chocolates above look delicious, but my all time favorite is dark chocolate with up to 80 or 90% pure chocolate! I realize this isn’t to everyone’s taste, but that leaves more for me and my hubby or guests can eat the rest of the selection. 1 1
Michele Posted April 30 Posted April 30 I love all chocolate. White chocolate has always been a favorite, but I'll never say no to milk chocolate. Give me a chocolate truffle any time so I can savor that creamy ganache. Lately I've been leaning towards dark chocolate for its health benefits; sounds boring, but I'm not getting any younger.

Ann Seeber Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Every so often I grab this since I eat ONE truffle in the evening with my wine and cheese. I see on Amazon I can buy the loose candies cheaper than the blue bags. I'm a sucker for dark chocolate! 2

Rene Marker Posted April 30 Posted April 30 I love chocolate but never been a fan of the "boxed" chocolates. My preference was Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Hershey's Almond Bar, Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bar and Hershey's Kisses. Being from Ohio, homemade "Buckeyes" were always around somewhere. "Buckeyes" are peanut butter and chocolate balls. My mother and several of her co-workers (all teachers) would get together in December and make lots of different kinds of candy and each would take their share. Some of the candies they made were Buckeyes, hard tack candy and chocolate covered cherries. I can no longer have chocolate so have had to find something else when I'm wanting a candy snack. On one of my trips this year, one of the stops for the tour is at Hershey's Chocolate World in Hershey, Pennsylvania. That's going to be a hard day for me!!! 1 2

Ann Seeber Posted May 5 Posted May 5 @Michele @Corrie Kinkel I just got some Lindor Dark Chocolate Truffles delivered by Amazon. I chose the large box of 24.4 oz which cost $25.99. The alternative 15.2 oz bag cost $26.00. I think I got a bargain. It's obviously packaged for sale in a display box but carefully shipped with an ice pack! Nice! 2
