AAM-Challenge.jpg

Let's continue this challenge for another year. We might be the ones taking pictures but we are not the feature of our layouts, so let's change that since we ARE important and have lots to say.

Every month or so, the layout will be about YOU, and a prompt will be given. If you have taken the Story Week Challenge, you will find some similarities but it won't be the same.

For the May layout, tell us about the houses/places you lived in. Do you have pictures of those places? If not, you can always use Google street view to gather more recent photos, if those places are still there. Do you remember the address? Do you remember some specific details about that house/apartment? As a child, maybe you perceived things differently than adults. Those could be interesting.

Remember that if you want to create pages for previous prompts, those threads will stay open. There is no right or wrong order to share about YOU.

I used a template to showcase the houses I've lived in. From 1941-1960 was my childhood home in Rutherford, NJ. From 1960-1966 when I was first married but still living in Rutherford. From 1966-1976, shown separately, we had moved to Wantage Twp, Sussex County, NJ. From 1977-1997 after my divorce and remarriage we moved to the Village of Warwick, NY. (It was a close comparison to my old hometown of Rutherford.) We then lived in New Hampton, NY from 1997-2008. We moved back to Warwick for the years 2008-2018. We then moved to a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo in Middletown, NY from 2018 to the present. My husband passed away in 2019, but I still live in the same unit.
