Cassel Posted November 16 Posted November 16 This challenge has had great success in the past so we can continue to have it on a regular basis, don’t you think? Just like those “some assembly required” kits that you can buy for a shelf, a chair, or a picnic table, I am including a 3600×3600 pixels canvas with some shapes. You HAVE to use the shapes in the size and proportions they are. You can move them, rotate them, flip them, and rearrange the layering if you want but you cannot resize them or replace them. You need to use ALL the pieces but you can add more if you want. So it is like all the pieces to build a DIY shelf: you cannot change the size of the pieces but you can use them creatively. Obviously, you will want to recolor them or replace them with papers, photos, etc. We just need to be able to recognize the initial shapes. Here is a preview of the shapes involved. The leaves should stay as is (you can only rotate and color them). Remember that you CANNOT replace them. They are NOT placeholders. Click here to download the layered template. Post your projects in the gallery. 1 1
Mary Solaas Posted November 16 Posted November 16 (edited) I couldn't resist. This is my favorite of the AI pictures I did of that Caboose Lake photo. Used Cass' Shaped Text script on the Bahira text, which I had duplicated and inner bevelled. I added shadows to all. Edited November 16 by Mary Solaas 1 7
Anne Lamp Posted November 16 Posted November 16 The background photo and the the St Clare statue with tree are mine. 3 5
Corrie Kinkel Posted Sunday at 06:44 PM Posted Sunday at 06:44 PM A couple of weeks ago I came along this plant and with the sun on the silvery seedpods the seeds were shining through. I used all the elements in the DIY image but I rearranged them to my liking. Three of the rectangles have a part of the same photo and the fourth has the text about this Honesty or Judaspenning in Dutch. As it is about silver. I colored the leaves in silver with some noise. For a decoration on the 4th rectangle I used cass-Decostitches3 which I was very lucky to win but hadn't used yet due to working on my calendars. The font for the text is Franklin Gothic Book and the background is again made by using some of Anna Aspness goodies. There are some seeds scattered on the background and those are by Sheila Reid. 1 4

Beautiful showcase for the money plant, as we call it. My only wish is a different font for the text. This seems unclear (maybe it's my eyes! 👀) 2

Corrie Kinkel Posted Sunday at 10:07 PM Posted Sunday at 10:07 PM @ Ann I have changed the font to Arial, so I hope you can read in now! I'll post it in the Facebook group too, so maybe it is better readable there. 2 4

Jannette Nieuwboer Posted Monday at 03:47 PM Posted Monday at 03:47 PM ik heb mijn duim op veranderd in een rood hartje omdat je de tekst aangepast hebt. 😉 3
