You already have the tutorials, either in the creative scrap or included in masterclasses. I don’t know how easy it would be to say extract the Christmas tree from the masterclass.
Thank you for your kind comment Annie. Yes I did get rid of the eyebrows, mind you the eyebrows in your project make her look even more intimidating. 🙂 haha
Text added to the first Spooky paper I did.
Part 2 of the Spooky 2 masterclass webinar from last Sunday. I had a little difficulty with this one, so not overly impressed with it. Now I know what is involved I shall keep practicing. I added some text to the first one that I did.
Great work Annie! I had trouble finding a suitable skull, but anyway here is my before and after result of the Spooky 2 webinar last Sunday.
Thank you Cristina. I’m always happy to share what I know. We are all here to learn from each other.
Still working on fonts and frames. I used a heart shape font and a rectangle shape to create the frame. Using the inner bevel tool to try and achieve a cuddly, soft, squishy, plush frame. Selection tool, promote to new layer was also used. I can give more detailed instructions if you are interested. Chippy is my resident chipmunk, he arrived out of the blue in the Spring of 2018, and is still with us. He’s quite spoilt, and has become quite friendly. I used the cutout effect for the text, from the hold on masterclass, as I wanted something subtle, to give the impression of the frame being squidgy.
Awesome Dawn! A superb photo for a superb layout.
Very nice. 75% contracts. 175% expands.
Great job on the frame and the page Annie. I love it.
A suggestion for a challenge. Theme Christmas. Create a seasonal element each day to be used in a page. Like a Christmas tree, ornament, tag, snow, tinsel, glowing star, fancy Christmas text, and so on.
Thank you ever so much for the lovely comment. Actually Michele! I started with the photo, on a new layer create the border with the rectangle tool, on a new layer select the font. Erase the border that runs through the font, merge down, textures, sculpture. I contracted the gold frame. I then used the eraser tool around the outside of the frame to remove the excess photo. That is how I got the photo to be included in the santa and snowman.
Thank you ever so much Sharon for your lovely comment. Dawn, I love your card, the floral punches work really well on vintage or modern projects.
Radiate, radiant sunset
Playing around with some Xmas ideas, advent tags possibly???!! I used the tied string tutorial from the lab. For the snowman and Santa I used a font, rectangle tool for the border, merged down, textures, sculpture. For children clipart can be used.
I guessed that your layers weren’t centered, you won’t make that mistake again. 🙂 Thank you for you kind encouraging comments. I too love the flower corner punches, your card is absolutely delightful. I’m pleased you persisted with the frame project, it really does look fabulous!!! As for my calendars I don’t sell them but print and give them to family and friends as Xmas gift. Take care, and happy PSPing. xx
Outer space. If this doesn’t qualify, delete.
Starting to work on 2020 calendar. This photo was taken at sunset, so thought it appropriate to add it to the sunset challenge. My resident coyotes. I have 2 packs that have dens in the horses field. A few years ago I stuck my head down one of the dens to listen for the pups, to my surprise I literally came nose to nose with the mother, who instantly retreated deep into the den. Our eyes met briefly, and she had the most beautiful soft kind eyes. By the following morning she had moved her litter. If only she realized that I didn’t pose a threat to her or her family.
Last phase. As the sun drops below the horizon.
Dawn The feather brushes I downloaded from https://myphotoshopbrushes.com/brushes/ All brushes are free.
By all means use the technique for your cards Dawn. I gave the instructions for all to use. This is a card I made quite some time ago, I may even have posted it on Facebook. The perspective technique is the same, with the exception of the way I did the borders, I used the buttonize tool, in the effects, 3D effects. Even if I say so myself, the card looked very 3D when printed.
Dawn a Christmas card I made last year for a friend who lives in Cornwall, and who I visit when I’m home. Wild Dartmoor ponies on Dartmoor.
Thank you ever so much Dawn and Michele. Your kind comments always mean a great deal to me. Dawn, I do make all my own greeting cards, and calendars. Here are a few which I don’t think I’ve posted here in the forum, but on Facebook.
Michele, this isn’t a criticism of your work, but had you centred the frames, you wouldn’t have had the steps on the horizon, instead the horizon would be completely horizontal. Still an awesome photo you took and layout. I love the way did the text.
Best wishes and happing PSPing
Sue
I don’t know why the background paper has changed, everything else is as it should be. It’s as it should be on the Facebook page. Mind you it has happened before, unless it has something to do with the texture.
Another sunset scene, using my triple frame effect. Background paper created using the bokeh effect and a slight texture. The beads I created for another project, which I coloured to match this project.
Thank you Dawn. It’s quick and easy to create the perspective frames, making for a unique effect.
Happy PSPing!

Here’s another one I made, quick and easy to create, yet unique.
On the Saskatchewan Prairies, there aren’t many mornings or evenings where the sky isn’t on fire. Further more all I have do is wrap up warm, and walk out the door to take shots.
Hahaha! Thank you Cristina. It’s been a cold wet day here, when it’s like that there’s only one thing to do and that is to be creative on PSP.
Lab 9 -10 Another month and another lab. With awesome tutorials. I made the bingo card, but with a twist. Once I started to create it I remembered some techniques I used in the up to date challenge. My resident female antelope. You only have to look at her eyes to know where the phrase “limpid pools” comes from. For three years on the trot, she has given birth in the horses field. After 5 months at home in Wales, I shall be returning to the Prairies.
