I created this Mothers Day page. My Mother has been gone for a few years though.
Kids- Kids pictures can be framed in so many different unique ways, both single pics, & collages.
After seeing the theme for this month yesterday, I got to playing around. The original frame is cass-DirtTexture-Frame-01 I did a bunch of playing with it in PSP and came up with this. It shows some of what can be done with a bit play time and some luck. (in the larger version you can see a lot more detail from some of the changes.)
F Funky There are so many wonderful frames, that to me could only be described as funky. Paisley Print, Geometric print, abstract etc.
This may be redundant, but I agree with Michele also. Seeing all these great project gives me some great ideas. Now all I need is the time to actually make them. My crazy real world keeps getting in the way of my fun world.
I have not done a lot of scraping lately but I have created a few thing for my Osprey Nest chat. Audubon Osprey Nest
Hog Island, Bremen, Maine, USA The Osprey part was a screenshot from that sight. I used the free photo frame that was for Mothers Day and changed the colors because it is a male Osprey. I then added another frame around it just because I thought it looked better that way but that was after I resized it for here.- This reply was modified 3 years, 7 months ago by Anne Lamp.
This is what I have been working on. I used the color challenge palette to do it. Happy Birthday Cassel you youngster.
I have been working on this for a few days. I know it is not Cassel’s birthday until tomorrow, but I though I would post it here today. I wanted to make her a Birthday page and decided to use the color challenge pallet to make it.
I am a little behind the times. I didn’t have time to work on day one yesterday so here it is today.
I have so many great pictures from various vacations, I think these will be what I want to use for the double pages. I can’t wait to get started on this challenge.
I did start working on this one in March.
Honoring Good Friday. The photo of the cross is one I took a couple of years ago at our Church.
Honoring Good Friday
I had just been looking at the vacation pictures from or 50th anniversary trip so I decided to use 50 as the theme for my picture.
Excel — Excel at something, whether it is something big that a lot of people know about, or something as simple as always getting those eggs cooked just right, or having the nicest flowers on the block, or anything else.
It makes you feel good to be able to pat yourself on the back and say “Hurray, I did it right again”.
I used the sketch challenge to figure out how I wanted to present my pictures for the Theme Challenge.
The Sketch challenge finally gave me an idea hot to arrange the pictures for the Theme challenge. Taking pictures is good exercise and a stress reliever too.
Part of my self care is getting out by myself to take pictures. This gives me good exercise, time to think, and it is a great stress reliever. I had access to this church and grounds anytime I wanted it because my Husband and I worked there from the time it was built until about a year ago.
This was a photo I was lucky enough to take a few years ago. I used the balls and bubbles effect to highlight part of it. Carrel’s new tutorial had be off playing with that again. It took me a while to think how to get the single bubble to the size and position I wanted. Then I had an Ah Ha moment and simply selected that area with the selection tool.
I created this for my chat friends at the live Osprey nest cam sight that I watch. The photos are from screenshots from that cam.
Not that these are as great and complicated as Michele’s background she created, But I wanted to show a sample of some of the stuff that can be done with the pic to painting plug in on a more or less plain background. For some reason it didn’t do much when using the original blue color. I was just having fun playing around a while back.
Z Zen is slang for a feeling of peaceful and relaxed. It is actually a type of Buddhism.
This one was created for the new challenge. The fonts were both freebies from Creative Fabrica . The Joyfull Summer was on the daily gifts. and the Baby Olivia was the one Cassel mentioned. The pineapples were also a freebie from there on the daily gifts. The Photo is mine and the frame was from pixel scrappers.

T – Tatting- or any craft that brings you peace.
After seeing the e-mail yesterday about the Balls & Bubbles effect, I got to playing around with it, I started with a photo I had taken of stained glass windows reflecting on the floor and went from there. I added a background layer and and angel to get this ornament that I will probably add a hanger to later.
G – gardening It can be so relaxing from the winter months when you are planning next years garden to the planting, watering, harvesting, (fighting the critters) and clean up the rest of the year. Besides it is good exercise taking care of it.
Yesterday Cassel posted on the F B page. “Let’s play with mandala designs. Go grab the freebie on the blog, color it and post your result!” So this is what I have been working on.
V–Vacation brochures. (if we ever get to go anywhere again)
I finally finished the paper clip challenge. The frame and paperclips are from pixel scrappers and the photos are mine.
I have been thinking about doing this challenge and finally finished it. The frame and paperclips are all from Pixel Scrappers. The background color is from the Tarnished Trumpet colors. The pictures including the frosty window are mine.
