On a completely different note, here’s what I did with Cassel’s Fanned Photo Collage freebie from a few years ago (it has a corresponding a script). I knew I would eventually find the perfect project for it. I found a bunch of random pics through Google and the font is Alex Brush.
Look at how many people you inspired, Carole!
Beautiful work, Lynda. You definitely displayed the versatility of the script.
Z = Zucchini #506022
I’m very happy to know that I inspired you, Mary. It looks wonderful. I also love what you did with Cassel’s frame.
Lovely calendar pages, Corrie. What font did you use for July and September? It’s very pretty.

T = Tangerine #FD902B
U = Upside down cake (This was probably already used, but I can’t think of anything in English that would start with u.)
Decided to have a little fun again; it’s the perfect time of year for that. The background and some of the elements are by Mariel Designs. Some of the elements I’ve just had forever. The witch is a character from the game and the font is Zombie Holocaust, free from SinisterFonts. Don’t be scared!
How absolutely beautiful, Shirley. That was a lot of work to trim her veil.
Amazing work, everybody!
I’m way behind; just starting Day 3. I probably knew and forgot that you could double click on a text layer to open up the text tool. I love re-finding Tips & Tricks! Thanks, Carole.
Thanks so much, Ann & Sue.
Shirley, that cake is incredible!
Your page is beautiful, Trish.
I had fun with today’s theme, too! I’ve had the original b&w pic for years; used Topaz Restyle plugin to colorize it. The frame, Window card 04, is included with PSP and I adjusted it a bit. The font is Kogttline, free from Fontspace.
Sometimes you gotta just go for the laughs!
Anne & Corrie, thank you, ladies. <3
I think I’ve commented or “liked/loved” most everything else that’s posted here in the FB group.
Just thought I’d have some fun with this one. The original sketch is by Hayden Williams, my favorite illustrator. <3
R = Roulade (jelly roll for non-French speakers)
I’m getting so much enjoyment looking at everyone’s wonderful layouts. What a creative bunch we are! <3
There are far too many projects posted for me to comment individually, but I love and am inspired by everyone’s creativity. <3
I managed to tie fashion and horror together thanks to an amazing illustrator, Guillermo Meraz who did a serial killer collection. I tried to make it look like they were on shelves. Don’t know if I was successful at that, but I do like the results. As always I had a deadline and now I see some things I would have done differently, but don’t we always feel that way? The font is Zombies from Font Bundles.
B = Babka
V = Vienna Sponge Cake
Wow, everyone is posting such wonderful and diverse projects. Good on us!
Nice job on both, Pirkko.
L = Lemon Meringue
Found this amazing tulle dress designed by Giambattista Valli and used Cassel’s Curved Photo script on it. Filter Forge helped me create the background paper using Textures: Techno: Brushed Metal. Not wanting to go back into FF, I sharpened the background using Adjust: Unsharp Mask to make the effect more pronounced. I also used Cassel’s Smooth Overlay script to make the paper a little more interesting. (You’ll probably have to view it full size to see the details.) The flowers are a scatter from AnnieCDigitals and the font is Kunstler Script.
Trish, A1C is a blood test for diabetes.
I think my A1C is off the charts now, Trish! 🙂
I = Ice Cream Cake
TRISH!!!! Great to see you here. We’ve been missing your cakes, but we’ve been missing you more.
There’s much more space than indicated by the rectangle. Check it out to see if it will meet your needs. The longer you use PSP, the fewer notes you will need. 🙂
I played around with Filter Forge last night, too. I copied a piece of the dress to a separate image. Then I used Filter Forge: Distortion: Frosty. Can’t remember how many different settings and PSP effects I used until I got the one I wanted to use for the background. I always wish I had more time.
The original fashion illustration is from Sunny Gu and the font is Dancing Script.
Helen, that blanket is gorgeous! FYI, you can click on Image Information and make your notes there. That way you always have your notes in the actual file. (You can click on Image: Image Information or Shift I)
