I did the same as others like Susan. I was using the wrong password (from my original account). When I entered what they sent (the long hyphenated one), it worked and I have the 90-day trial.
Now, just waiting for the “gremlins” at SBC to get kicked out so we can all resume normal operations.
BTW, don’t see much “dust” here, Carole, and I know dust when I see it :-))
Oops, I forgot the concept about starting with A.
I’m not sure what you mean, but my suggestion for “seasonal” would be farming. I live within a very rural area (but in town) where the crops are of prime importance and seasonal changes are significant. Corn, soy, tomatoes, fruits, etc. It’s what popped up first in my mind when I read your post.
Susan Ewart, I think I might’ve seen that offer slip by recently (for Ultimate). There have been so many pop ups that I tend to dismiss them rather quickly b/c I’m delaying over the issues with it. Glad you snagged it!
The best offer I’ve seen so far is $29.99 CDN for the upgrade. Not for ultimate. I’m still hesitant b/c of the issues, so waiting some more. This forum is the best place to learn little tricks & tips: didn’t know there was an option for YEARLY for Diamond membership. I’m having to be careful with all these monthly fees; they add up!
I’ve been out all day, and NOW I can dive in and stock up! Whoo-hoo! Got my list and checking it twice….

November 11, 2022 at 9:41 am in reply to: I need script help – knowing what I have and what it does! #86141I’m not going to chime in about my (dis)organizational skills, but I just want to say that by clicking the link that Carole gave for videos, I found that there’s a script to create a window frame! I should have known, and it would’ve saved me hours of attempts to make my own! I wonder what else I don’t know about in the store….or elsewhere.
To go with Susan Ewart‘s suggestion:
Scrapbook Campus……nourish your creative spirit with the power of PSP.
When I first bought PSP in 2018 (I think), I was looking for a good photo-editing program to use on very old photos and newspaper images that I work with for articles I write. I didn’t have a clue how to use it, so then started the web searches to find help. I eventually found SBC (and Carole) and the rest is history. I have learned so much, and I find I am creating more and more projects than I could have imagined myself doing. My main interests are family history (mine and others’) and history of the small town where I grew up. The other stuff I’m able to do now is just for fun and to send to family and friends. This is a group of like-minded, clever, and creative folks who are so supportive. A good place to be, and to learn.
Welcome Iona! You will find this a friendly and supportive place to learn. Carole’s and others’ skills are just amazing and they love to share and assist. I’m not a scrapbooker either, but I have learned to enjoy “playing” with the possibilities of what PSP can do. The creative content on these pages will delight you I’m sure.
Wishing you a wonderful birthday on Earth Day! Hope you have lots of cake and a glass of something special! Thank you for the sale and for all your kind and patient help. Finding your site has been such a great thing. It’s a real community of creativity and friendliness, and a nice place to spend time. Cheers!
Thanks Carole. I will try that. I like to know how the script works before I rely on it. Or, at least I think I do. The whole mask process was a real learning curve. But I’m glad I went through it.
I can’t even imagine trying to learn/work with PSP with instructions in a language other than my own! It’s challenging enough without trying to figure out words and expressions in that language. I admire those that are doing that! And, to use an idiom, I “take my hat off” to you. To me, this whole mitred corner thing sounds a bit daunting.
Hi Christiane, It’s great you have joined. You will find a friendly, supportive group here and you will feel welcome. You will not find a better teacher than Carole!
It is so kind of Carole to express her empathy in these posts. While my parents came from other parts of eastern Europe, long ago, I have so much DNA from that area (I do genealogy) that it affects my thoughts and my heart as well. A democracy being attacked by a dictator…it is just unfathomable. And nothing is being done…just a lot of talk and foot stomping.
Hi, I don’t have much to add that hasn’t been said. I need “categories” by project types or by tools used. Some sort of index (aphabetical as suggested). I wonder if having the tools used listed as part of the Master Class (when it’s not self-evident) might work? (e.g. this project uses Gridlines; this project uses Warp Brush; etc.) When I look at the classes, I usually have something specific in mind that I want to learn or improve on. (e.g. how to create a scalloped border). I love the access but I still feel a tiny bit lost with so much to choose from.
Thanks. Julie
