Carole/Cassel: I’m not sure where I acquired the desktop size calendar for 2021 that I posted above for November. The template file has all the months. This was in addition to the Up-To-Date Calendar which is larger and vertical. The desktop full size is only 1250 x 759 which is perfect for my monitor. I just looked in my Calendar Templates folder and found this for 2022, though it is kinda large, I can resize it. It doesn’t have the boxes to mark up like the Desktop one does. Just thinking about it, I may be able to revise the dates in 2021 for 2022, hopefully, because I like its format better.

For the Up-to-Date challenge, although the whole page is larger, the dates and the boxes are smaller. You can copy and paste those dates and boxes onto another image and if it is still too large, you can size them down by a % so both would be similar and you can resize all the other months by the same % and everything will be even.

        Would that work?

Carole/Cassel: Sounds like a good idea. I will try it out and let you know how I make out. Thanks!

Ann, I think both calendar templates were given by Corel.

This was a sketch from september, but didn’t have time to work on it……….but it’s finished now 🙂

              Translation of the Dutch text”:

The monastery was built in the 15th century and now serves as a monastery museum and museum of religious art.

The first time we came there was actually by accident.. To get to know the province, where we had just moved to, better, we regularly toured by car. At one point I saw something through the trees that seemed very old. We turned around and we were immediately impressed by the beautiful building. Of course we also went inside and that was also impressive.

Edit: I’m looking at the project with Irfanview instead of PSP and are the shadows for the papers too dark?

While getting dressed to go outside this morning, and putting my bobble cap on, an idea came to mind, so while having lunch I had a little play on PSP. I created a Santa hat tag, to be used in a project. I think I could have made the red hat a little deeper, but on the whole I was quite pleased with it. I already had the fibre brush in my brushes, which I created many years ago. Using the tutorial, plush fibre in the creative scrap. I decided not to add shadows, as I noticed that the tags I have and have seen online, don’t have shadows, same goes for magazines. Any ideas for other tag designs would be gratefully received.

Ideas for tag shapes for you Sue.  Bell (not the jingle kind, the Liberty bell kind), snowman, tree, ball ornament, angel, snowglobe.

You know Susan, I tend to associate those shapes more with Xmas decorations, than tags, but there isn’t any reason why they can’t be tag shapes. Thank you.

Another month is drawing to a close, I thought I had better post a few  projects that I have  done, before December begins.  Word art tree, this time the 12 days of Christmas.

If only you knew the lengths I had to go too, to get this shot. Once I spotted them in the distance, I dropped to the ground, and crawled ever so slowly, and quietly, until I was close enough to get a shot, without disturbing them. I took my shot, and retreated, leaving them as I found them. It isn’t a proper scrap page, but I did use a few techniques, adjustment layers, twisted rope, my own tag, frame, text, and a png swirl to frame the text.  I included the tag, for better visibility to read.

The tropical fish Facebook group called Aquarium Antics put out a call for a holiday header contest so I submitted this. The background art is from a site that offers free wallpapers and I just added the word in Showcard Gothic font filled with a gold gradient
