March 14, 2019 at 3:42 am #26831Lovely work Cristina. Papers, title, elements just all fit so well together, well done Hon! <3
March 14, 2019 at 4:08 am #26836Dawn and Annie, thank you so much for your kind comments <3
Whenever possible and the weather permits we try to be outdoors, walking, getting to know different places etc… Right now it too WINDY.
March 14, 2019 at 7:01 am #26841Wonderful page, Cristina. The embellishments really complement the photos. Looks like a fun time was had by all! And I’m glad you liked mine. 🙂
Thank you, Stampiljke. Orchids are such glorious flowers. I just wish they were from my garden.

March 15, 2019 at 6:18 am #26886Michele, thank you so much for your kind comment. <3
Creating layouts for me is like you choosing the pictures, sometimes they come easily and other times is a struggle… also depends on how inspired (or not) I am… For this simple layout, I tried so many different papers, moved the photos around and created dozens of the circle element with different colors and papers, until I had something that pleased me… But it is fun no matter what… I don’t like everything that I do but I see it as a learning process.
March 15, 2019 at 8:34 am #26892I hear you, Cristina. You pick a paper or two, a few embellishments, then the layout seems to take on a life of it’s own. I usually end up with a lot of layers before I decide which elements I’m going to keep. Then I start deleting.
Today I wanted to make something for a friend of mine and I ended up using papers and elements from several different designers: Marisa Levin and Sheila Reid at Pixel Scrapper, and Marina at Magical Scaps Galore. I used Cassel’s Lace 1 script to create the ribbons and the font is Phylactere.
Just realized I forgot the shadows on all but one element. I tried it out on that one and I was planning on finishing it after I had finalized the design. Oh, well, there’s always tonight. 🙂

March 17, 2019 at 5:05 am #26987March 17, 2019 at 11:46 am #27053Michele, I love, love, love this layout!
March 17, 2019 at 3:46 pm #27072When I started this layout, my idea was to practice the tutorials from the Lab9-M03 (Dotted Swirls/Watercolor/Multi Photo template)… First I did the template (also copy some ideas from cass–Multiphoto-Frame2-12photos freebie).
But having a second look at the photos, I decided to use the tutorials from the Lab6-M05 (Cartoon Words/Burst Shape/Half-tone Pattern).
For the clipart of the girl superhero (dumielauxepices.net) I decided to use the technique that was taught on the Pop-Up Master Class… I love this webinar… The same technique I used for the title.
I used cass-KidnapAlpha-sample in the title. The black paper is from BellaGypsy-soulsisters_solid1.
The ideas for the title and phrases are from the Inspiration Layout of the Lab6-M05.

March 18, 2019 at 1:35 pm #27100Annie, Dawn, and Michele thank you so much for your kind comments. I really appreciate <3 … As it happens sometimes, I tweaked the layout a little bit after I had posted here. 🙂
March 18, 2019 at 2:23 pm #27102Lovely work Ladies. I wish there was a like/love button as well so we could show appreciation with a click too. I have had major PC problems and haven’t had any time to play with PSP.

March 18, 2019 at 6:45 pm #27107Hi all, what great work each and everyone of you do. Everything is awesome!!
This is my lesson 2 form Basic Scrap Course.
Dede Smith was for the Alpha
Carena’s design for Autumn Lesiure for the kit.My colors are a little to samey, but working with a Alpha is not something I really enjoy. Most of the kits I have purchased
do not include them.
DarleneMarch 18, 2019 at 7:04 pm #27109Darlene, you have created a beautiful page for your lesson 2 … love the colour combination … everything goes well together.. and your title fits that photo so perfectly… well done !
best wishes,
Dawn.
March 18, 2019 at 11:15 pm #27119Lovely result for Lesson 2 Darlene. I don’t find your colours samey at all, I think the whole result blends beautifully. Besides, if you are anything like I am when creating, sometimes your mood says dark, and, sometimes it screams brights, go figure, 🙂 Well done Hon. <3
March 19, 2019 at 3:53 am #27124Thank you Dawn and Annie.
DarleneMarch 19, 2019 at 6:38 am #27129Oh, Sheila, I’m sorry for your PC problems. I’ve been wondering where you were. I hope you can start playing again soon.
Darlene, You did a wonderful job. I don’t find the colors “samey” at all; I think you picked colors that complemented each other beautifully. Working with Alphas is not my favorite thing to do as it can be tedious. I’m just thankful for the alignment tools PSP gives us.

March 19, 2019 at 7:34 am #27130Hi Sheila,
I agree that a like/love button would be a good addition to the site, but I think it doesn’t support this change.
I hope that your problems with the PC are over and you can post your lovely work here again. 🙂
March 19, 2019 at 7:48 am #27131Darlene, the layout is very nice, and I agree with my friends here, your color fits perfectly with the painting colors.
Carole has a free script that is called SnapOn/SnapOff and I like to use it when I am working with alphas… I have it bound in the menu bar… Here is the post where she explains how to do it.

March 19, 2019 at 6:26 pm #27135Thank you Micfin and cristina, I will check into the snap on/snap off. I did use the grid to line the alpa up from paintshop pro!
My brother liked the page as well, the dog and lamb picture is one Our Grandmother had in her house for as long as we can remember. He took a picture of it and restored the picture.

March 20, 2019 at 4:52 am #27154Dawn, your cards are beautiful. I like to enlarge and pay attention to all the little details and techniques you used… and there are so many! Great work!
March 20, 2019 at 10:26 am #27159Love the cards, Dawn. Those flowers on Card 5 are incredibly realistic! They look like if I touched them, they would feel like velvet. Your use of the filigrane script on Card 6 is wonderful. I think I have it, but never used it. Now you’ve challenged me!
