Everyone has access to view the edited recording of the class on Blending Through.
How about creating a sample of the double exposure that was demonstrated? I would love to see what picture combination you will use.
Remember this one?

Here is my effort with the Blending Through – Double Exposure technique. it is amazing the different effects you can get with the blending modes. I put a koala in the map of Australia as a single png. Then I put the original photo over a white background and added some texture.June 18, 2017 at 6:45 pm #13537
Dawn, i am glad to see someone try this technique. Your result is great! and the combination is perfect!June 18, 2017 at 8:37 pm #13542
Thank you Cassel for your kind comments on my effort for this challenge. This Master Class challenge was a good idea, it has encouraged me to try some of the other blending modes that I have not thought about using. I use the multiply mode quite often but haven’t used the others too much at all. The process was quite simple and it does give a nice interesting effect . I will do more experimenting with them.

Dawn, I love your idea of blending the koala with the map of Australia. Very good!
This is my contribution. My first attempts were not successful, but I finally manage to come up with something.
I try the technique with maps and images. The map I had to work quite a bit with the arrows but finally got it.
For the image, I use a tourist clipart and blended with a photo like explained in the tutorial. I added an outline to the final result. In the end was fun.
I attach the image of the maps matching perfectly and the final result.June 20, 2017 at 3:45 am #13568

Hello Sheila, your project is very pretty. I love your butterflies and your doily is a nice background for them. Thanks for showing us.

Thank you Dawn. I made the doily using Cassels round Doily script.

Hi, Dawn and Sheila, thanks for the comments on my layout.
Sheila, very good idea of blending butterflies and flowers. I also like the use of a doily for the background, and the doily itself is very pretty with all these components. Nice work.
