The Campus is the perfect place to learn more about photo editing, various techniques, or PSP in general.

This challenge will give you an opportunity to practice some of those techniques or use some tools.

This month’s Tut/Tech Challenge is to add text, design or other “ink-y” elements to a project while it overlaps more than one surface. Remember that an “ink-y” element would have no thickness so no bevel and no shadow. And if you want to give it even more of an “ink-y” look, you can use a grungy brush and erase slightly on that text/design.

HERE is a blog post that explains how to add achieve that effect.

Here are some project using the  different surface technique.   In the  sunflower page, I  converted the photos to black and white, duplicated, and  erased the flowers, revealing the  colourful flowers underneath.

Thank you Dawn, for you kind compliment on my pages and photos. I only ever use photos  that I have taken myself.

            Best wishes

            Sue

After the long heatwave we had the weather has changed to storm and rain. It is already much earlier dark outside and this combines to give the feeling of autumn. So for this challenge, writing on different surfaces, I made something matching my mood. I also used the Perle Noir color, but desided to post it here.

Dawn, thank you very much, as I’m relativly new to Scrapbook it is so encouraging and I must say this is quit addictive in a good way of course. Besides it is good practise for my English.

Sue, I always love seeing your photography and your creations in PSP.  You are the only one that I have seen in Saskatchewan working with PSP so I do feel a special bond with you.  You are really creative and talented as well as being a real professional in your use of PSP.  Thanks for sharing.

I do not think this is done yet. But I did learn a new technique and it is cool. I wanted a paint stamp effect and this just fit the need. Thanks

Corrie, Lynn, and Lynda, very nice examples of this technique!  It gives an interesting effect, and I will also give it a try sometime.
