In February, our monthly theme is CANDIES.
Let’s play our monthly alphabet game.
Let’s find words that are related to candies, whether it is a brand, a type of candies, or something related to sweets in general. I think this one should be easy since we have the option to use some brand names!
Who will start?
March 4, 2017 at 8:52 pm #12534a = anise, an old timey candy
March 5, 2017 at 8:36 pm #12557b = Boston Baked beans (sugar coated peanuts) – I used to love these when I was a kid
March 6, 2017 at 6:45 pm #12563C= Coconut Ice.
March 8, 2017 at 8:33 am #12564C= Chicken Bones (from Ganong Candy Company) Available only in Canada as far as I know. We buy it there every time we travel north. It is YUMMY!!!!! And addicting!!!!! Check out this link: https://ganong.com/?s=Chicken+bones

March 14, 2017 at 12:57 am #12609P=Polo Mints, the mint with a hole.
March 15, 2017 at 7:38 pm #12613This probably doesn’t count as a candy but I couldn’t think of anything else.
Q = Quaker Oat Bars

March 16, 2017 at 10:50 am #12616S = Smarties.
March 18, 2017 at 5:21 am #12619I gave my Grandson the Bugs Bunny soft toy for his 1st Birthday. It still goes places with him. I made and iced this chocolate cake for his 9th Birthday. He is 25 now Bugs is still his favourite, well next to the pokamons of course.
Thanks Cassel for the template.
March 18, 2017 at 5:31 am #12620T ~ Taffy
March 18, 2017 at 12:13 pm #12627U = U-No bar. I was hoping I’d get this letter. I used to love Uno bars (great frozen), but they aren’t available locally anymore.
March 19, 2017 at 8:38 am #12652V = Victory V’s. These were a sandy coloured lozenge that tasted like aniseed/liquorice and made your tongue go a bit numb. Lovely on a cold day though as a least your mouth felt hot.

March 21, 2017 at 8:24 am #12657I cheated…I couldn’t think of any X candies but this showed up in my search:
X=Xtra sour goo (Too Tarts)–it’s a gel like candy that comes in a tube. It looks pretty disgusting but I’m guessing that’s part of the attraction.

March 21, 2017 at 10:19 pm #12659Z = Zagnut bar
