This isn’t really a tool but I’ve been chatting with Susan about linking and color coding of the layers in the layer palette. Maybe a short demo on how you do this especially with a layer palette that has lots of layers and the layers that you want to link are not next to each other in the palette. I actually use this more than grouping of layers.
Which leads to a question about grouping? Say you’ve got a layer towards the top of your layer palette that you want linked with several layers that are much lower in the palette. Are you able to group those specific layers? That is when I use linking and color coding of the layers to make sure I link all that I want.
Yes, I usually have lots of layers, at least 30 or more on each layout I do.
