Very well said Sue. Even years later you can visualize their huge personalities. I marvel at the fact of how we can mange to communicate with our animal family and can “see” how they are feeling and you sure know when they are “off”. Still, when they are gone, I miss them terribly. I’ve worked/lived on several horse breeding farms in the very distant past (in BC) and they have wildly different personalities than each other and it’s a marvel to learn that and interact with them based on their personality. I have loved horses all my life and that quote at the bottom really hit home. When my company is gone I might dig out my albums and see if there is anything worthy of a layout (mostly I shot slides back then).
