Fiona, you CAN add the Drop Shadow command on the top toolbar so you don’t have to go through the Effects > 3D Effects > Drop shadow every time. It is just like the Repeat command. Find it in the Customize window, and drag and drop it where you want it and it will become a one-click process. After that, it is a matter of having some presets that you can reuse over and over again.
