Margo, after some searching, I found out that, although you cannot re-add the icons, individually, like other commands, you CAN go to the Toolbar tab, highlight the Layer Palette Option Toolbar and click on Reset. That would reset it to default. However, I have reported that “oddity” to the development team, suggesting they add ALL the commands to the Customize dialog window.
