Corrie, thanks for the information about Chrome. I might try that and see if it works for me too.
Margo, how are you trying to bring it into PSP? Are you using a keyboard shortcut? Or a command in the menu? As for the first three icons, you CAN remove them if you want. To do so, you go to View > Customize, and while that dialog window is open, you can click on the icons, and drag them out of their current location and into the middle of the workspace. That should make them disappear from the palette.
