Carole– Ok, so here is my self-critique. Of my two designs for Module 2, I like the second one, the one with the chickens, better than the first one. I think the layout, proportions, and colors work well. Overall, I think the shadows are better, except with some minor tweaking. I think if I were looking at actual paper, the shadows on the paper objects would be a little tighter and more well defined. A good self-assignment for me would be to really look at, and observe some real paper shadows so that I can really understand what they should look like and thus improve my work. Thank you for challenging me to really look and observe for myself. Hopefully, I will get better at it as time goes on.
